Paris Agreement Represents Huge Opportunity for U.S.
Here’s an article that explains why it’s in the U.S.’s best interest to embrace the Paris Agreement on climate change and lead the world in the development of clean energy. There’s no rocket science here: it’s about the jobs that are being created daily, and our ability to ensure that they land here, versus, for instance, China, which is already investing heavily in renewable energy.
That’s why the very most patriotic thing anyone can do right now is support the transition from the “dinosaur economy” of 20th Century dirty fuels, to the modern economy of the 21st Century. If we really want to make America great again, whatever that means, this is the path we must follow.
China IS investing heavily in renewable energy. They are also investing heavily in R & D for nuclear power, a fact which I have never seen mentioned there. They are wisely avoiding putting all their eggs into one basket.
