France Embracing Electric Transportation

I’m glad to see that France is back in the news with respect to renewable energy and electric transportation.  According to this article, the EV battery market there is predicted to experience a compound annual growth rate of over 44%!

As I’ve mentioned, this doesn’t surprise me.  From what I can gather, even under the weight of the European debt crisis, the French are extremely progressive in redesigning their entire approach to transportation and energy.  Moreover, unlike the U.S., the public and private sectors actually like and respect one another.  They have tons of public-private partnerships that are making terrific advancements all over the country.
