Pros and Cons of Renewable Energy

Shortly after we kicked off 2GreenEnergy in 2009, I made a series of videos called “The Pros and Cons of Renewable Energy,” where, in each segment, I talked about a certain technology: wind, solar, biomass, hydrokinetics, and geothermal, and listed, as thoroughly and objectively as I possibly could, the advantages and disadvantages of each.

As the saying goes, there is no such thing as a free lunch.  Even wind, which, due to its amazing set of positive attributes, is growing like a weed, has a number of inherent characteristics that we don’t like, but simply have to get used to.
