Solar Technobabble

Depending on my mood, I can regard technoBS with either anger or amusement.  This one happened to strike me funny; it’s an effort to sell solar panels for use in off-grid areas of the desert, as if there is anything unique about this product that makes it better suited for the desert.

You know you’re reading bullcrap when you come across this from the opening paragraph: “It is even proven that twice the amount of sunlight reaching the earth’s surface is received by deserts.”  That’s like saying, “It is even proven that twice the number of students at UCLA are women.”
