A Bit Off-Topic, But Interesting: Universal Health Care

It’s good to see that this subject is still in the public sphere, given the extreme right-wing nature of the ruling party here in the U.S.  Here’s an excellent little video featuring Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul that I hope you enjoy.

I’m not a fan of Rand Paul, but I have to say that he’s normally not this stupid; I’m sure he regrets having not thought it through a bit better. Shifting the payor from one party to another doesn’t obligate any doctor or set of doctors to do anything at all, and certainly not charge less for their services or deliver them for free.
