The Amazon Will Recover

The caption to the left should actually read, “The Amazon Can’t Recover Quickly Once It’s Gone.”  The Amazon will recover from literally anything our greedy, selfish plutocracy can throw at it.

We are greatly reducing the capacity of this planet to support life. But even if, as many scientists believe, this ultimately results in a great die-off of human beings, the planet will recover just fine.
