Nope, you don’t need to be perpetually “outraged” !
What you need to understand is “grand symbolic gestures” and expensive, uneconomic programs and regulations that don’t serve any useful purpose, cost in terms of employment and investment.
The only that grew under President Obama was the Washington bureaucracy and a massive transfer of American wealth to China, Mexico etc.
Decisions of this nature must be based on practical careful analysis not in adherence to some fuzzy ideology.
