Eviscerating Our Environmental Protections

Here are 28 of the 101 laws on our books aimed at environmental protection that the Trump administration has either gutted or is in the process of gutting.

Those wishing to profit from befouling our skies and waterways have walked into the perfect storm:

• A corrupt president and cabinet,

• A fiercely supportive donor base (Koch Industries, et al), and

• A pandemic that consumes all the oxygen that otherwise would have been available to tell this story to the American people.

Our civilization understands what sustainability looks like, but at this critical point in its history, it’s running as fast as possible in the opposite direction.
