Where Is the U.S. on the Political Spectrum?

A reader asserts: I hate to break it to you but the US is a socialist country. Shall I list all the social programs we have or are you astute enough to look them up all by yourself? Obviously the latter doesn’t apply does it?

LOL!  I normally ignore comments from people with manners from hell, but this trash enables me to make a point:

No.  As shown below, the United States is in the top tier of the world’s most libertarian countries.  Yes, we have socialized police, fire departments, public schools, transportation infrastructure, investment in technology, space exploration (for the most part) but this is a constantly shrinking portion of our GDP, and again, we have one of the freest economies on Earth.
