Tough Times for Those Whose Careers Require Thinking

We live in times in which many of us are functioning with a grossly diminished capacity to think.  This has numerous consequences that go far beyond our ability to distinguish left from right (see photo), and it explains how it’s possible that America is still on the fence when it comes to:

• The honesty and competence of the U.S. president

• The legitimacy of masks and social distancing to contain the pandemic

• The use of military force against peaceful protesters

• The wholesale destruction of the natural environment to generate short-term profits

• The validity of the AGW (anthropogenic global warming) theory of climate change

Let me suggest that we Make America Intelligent Again.
