What’s Required to Implement a Wealth Tax?

At left we see what could be accomplished with a wealth tax.

Getting there is going to be a b****, however, given the current state of corruption in the United States and around the world.  The wealthy and powerful, who essentially own the law-making process, would have to decide to tax themselves.

Since the probability of that is one in a bazillion, we’ll have to content ourselves with the hypothetical nature of the magic red button.
