Understanding Trump’s Deceitful Approach to COVID-19

As you read the meme here, realize that the truth is far worse.  Trump didn’t lie because he didn’t want you to panic, but because he wanted you to think that COVID-19 wasn’t a serious threat, that “Trump’s America” is a safe and healthy place, and that you should vote for him in November, acting on this mistaken belief.

Ironically, there was a group he didn’t want to panic, but it wasn’t the citizenry; it was Wall Street.  He was desperate to keep the stock market high, as he knows that the common American doesn’t understand that the stock market has essentially nothing to do with his financial well-being, since the top 10% own 92% of the stock.  Again, this was an attempt to win your votes–and at your own expense.
