Nobody Knows More Than Donald Trump

The United States has become a complete circus, and as we all know, no circus can function without a barker.  One might have thought that when Trump lost the 2020 election by 73 electoral college votes (not to mention 7+ million popular votes) that the man in the top hat who had captivated the world with this chicanery and misdirection for four full years would have become irrelevant to American life going forward, but nothing could be further from reality.

In the past few weeks, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has, at various times, admitted that Trump was guilty of incitement of insurrection while voting to acquit him in the impeachment trial, said that he would never support him again, and now, will enthusiastically support his re-election bid in 2024.  That’s not exactly irrelevant, is it?

To get a feel for Trump as a carnival barker, I hope readers will take a couple of minutes and check out the video below.  Then realize that almost half the nation beholds this man, who “knows more about ISIS than the generals,” as a figure for honesty and service to his country; they believe every word that comes out of this charlatan’s mouth.
