There Was Something Distinctive About the U.S. Capitol Tourists, But It’s Hard To Nail Down

My experience with tourism is limited to visits to 21 other countries, mostly on business, lots of family vacations through the years, and meeting the considerable flood of tourists who come here (Santa Barbara County), largely to taste wine.

Yet I’d bet that even those that are 10 times more traveled than I am, or those who live in destination meccas like Paris or Venice, have never seen tourists who build gallows and tie nooses to them.  It’s peculiar behavior, as I think anyone would have to admit.
