The Frequency of Climate-Related Catastrophes

This is what a city in China looks like after receiving eight months of rain in five days, viewed through a few hundred feet of air pollution.

A catastrophe, to be sure.  The real problem, however, is that disasters like this are occurring with ever-increasing frequency.  This is another once in 1000 years event–the third within a month.
