Science Is Down, But It Isn’t Out

It’s no secret that science is taking a terrible drubbing here in the United States, as tens of millions of people, without any education in the arena, are “doing their own research” by watching media outlets like Fox News and looking at YouTube videos that are loaded with disinformation.

Fortunately, however, we’re not taking this lying down, and here’s a good example.  Stemming from his anti-vax, anti-science stand re: COVID-19, the American Medical Association has permanently revoked ophthalmologist Rand Paul’s license to practice medicine, claiming, quite correctly, that Paul’s actions violate the Hippocratic Oath and its “do no harm” clause.
