It’s Been a Great Couple of Weeks for Fascism in America

Until the recent U.S. Supreme Court’s decisions on guns, abortion, and Miranda rights, any of us could have been forgiven for believing that the judiciary had no political bias.  All that’s out the window now.

At this point, we are all forced to admit that we live in a repressive society in which our constitution, which Americans uniformly revere, has no more real substance than a shadow.

At least in the United States, the promise of a government of, by and for the people, to paraphrase Lincoln, is in the process of perishing from the Earth.
