Building-Integrated Photovoltaics

The video below on building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) reminded me that this subject really hasn’t come into its own, for reasons I don’t claim to understand.

The housing boom in Las Vegas continues unabated, and lots of folks are putting PV on their rooftops.

Why not build a roof that isn’t under PV, but rather is PV?

If you Google the subject, you’ll find a whole bunch of people who are looking for dealers, but it’s difficult (maybe impossible) to find a real live dealer who will work with your building contractor and deliver the goods.
