There Are Good Reasons To Support Nuclear, and Some Bad Ones Too

Having said that, there are solid arguments for nuclear, and then there are others, like the one above. What the fuel weighs has very little bearing on the effectiveness of the solution.
I’m amused by the people who compare nuclear to wind and point out that the power density of wind is a tiny fraction of that of nuclear. True, but who cares? The availability of real estate in the plains is essentially unlimited.
There is no doubt that nuclear confers significant advantages over its competitors, but that doesn’t mean that all reasoning is equally sound.
