Why Not Arrest Trump?

This guy has a point.  We already know Trump sent an armed mob on federal property (the Capitol), and that he stole classified documents.  Why not just arrest him and deal with the fallout, while you’re building a case around more serious crimes?

Sure, there is going to be some violence, but think about the mindset of these 2022-model insurrectionists, having watched almost 900 of their 2021 compatriots charged, tried, and punished for a far more excusable crime, i.e., rioting because the then-President of the United States ordered you to.

It’s hard to imagine what’s to be gained by waiting.
