Looks Like Bannon Is Going Down in NY Fraud Case

It appears that the State of New York is going after Steve Bannon on the same fraud changes that were covered in the federal indictment for which Donald Trump pardoned him.  As we so vividly recall, Bannon was charged with defrauding the Trump base, soliciting funds from the MAGA crowd to finish building the wall on the southern border, funds that went directly into Bannon’s bank account.

I suppose it could be said that all forms of fraud are equally despicable, but it’s hard to imagine something more disgusting than taking advantage of the boundless stupidity of one’s own supporters.

Working against the defendant is a Supreme Court decision to the effect that the acceptance of a pardon for a certain crime is tantamount to an admission of guilt for that crime.

It’s not going to take too much creativity on the prosecution’s part to send this scumbag away for a very long time, especially considering that said scumbag is already awaiting sentencing for two counts of contempt of Congress.
