What Will it Take for Humankind to Survive?

What Gene Roddenberry says here is probably correct, but, sadly, our species seems to be headed in the opposite direction.  “Differences in ideas and attitudes” are increasingly perceived as alien, and thus, threatening.

The most obvious real-world example today, of course, is the war in the Middle East, but let’s not forget about the rise of white nationalism in the U.S. since the MAGA Trumpers came along about 10 years ago.
