This discussion began in the early 1970s with the OPEC oil embargo, and America’s realization that our national security was at risk accordingly.  But how far have we come in the ~55 intervening years?  Essentially nowhere.

Of the many reasons that hydrogen is impractical, perhaps number one is that the delivery infrastructure is not there, nor will it ever be.  You can unplug your toaster and plug in your car, but you cannot devise a way to serve up hydrogen across the 3.8 million square miles of the United States.

Obviously, this does not deter scammers like these guys from collecting investment dollars from people who will never see a dime in return.
