Why Are We Letting Trump Do This?

The simple answer to the simple question is that the United States ran into a “perfect storm” about 10 years ago, where both the level of hatred and ignorance of the common American and the corruptive influence of money in politics hit the levels required to reduce our democracy to ruins.

Trump appears to have pulled off the ultimate coup, usurping the powers that the Founding Fathers were convinced belonged to the legislative and judicial branches of the U.S. federal government.

At this point, we can only conclude that an evil and demented man seems to have become the first king of the USA.
