Self-Sufficiency

If by “they” you mean grocery stores, I suppose you have a point, though growing all the dozens of kinds of food you want in your diet sounds like quite a task.  For example, do you like coffee in the morning? It doesn’t grow in the continental United States.

But it gets worse, as there is a great deal more to self-sufficiency than food. Do you propose to make your own cars, gasoline, toilet paper, air conditioners, shoes, network routers, lightbulbs, condoms, and cell phones?
