“Universal and Supreme Happiness”

On this planet, we have three principal types of government:
Authoritarian dictatorships and oligarchies, e.g., most of Asia and Africa. Under Putin, the Russian people lead lives of great privation.
Capitalist democracies, e.g., Japan, most of Europe, the U.K., Australia, and what the U.S. was before Trump. In these cases, the government is indifferent to the happiness/suffering of the people. Want to be called a “woke libtard?” Just tell someone in a red state that you care about the well-being of the common person.
Social democracies, e.g., Scandinavia, Iceland, Costa Rica, and New Zealand. What makes these countries stand out from the rest is that they actually care about the happiness of the people, and believe it or not, it works. These nations are consistently rated at the very top of the World Happiness Rankings.
