Our Perceptions Are Limited

This translates as:

Did you know that the majority of things that exist are totally invisible to us.  We only see light 430 and 790 terahertz. We only hear sounds between 20 Hz and 20kHz.

These ranges are only a small fraction of the complete spectrum of existence.

I’ve heard this before, but I’m not sure how compelling it is.  Is it possible that there is useful information in X-rays or infrared light? Ultrasonic or subsonic sound?

Seems unlikely.
