Is Portland a War Zone?

This subject is addressed in the video linked below, in which the White House press secretary, one of the most unabashed liars of all time, suggests that reporters ask Portland residents directly whether or not their city is a hellscape.

Of course, it’s disgusting that the White House has no regard for the truth.  But there is a comic element here too; if I were asked to name the most peace-loving city in the United States, Portland certainly would have been in my top five, along with perhaps Seattle and Santa Monica, CA.
