Mel Gibson for California Governor?

Well, let’s think about this.

Mel Gibson is one of a very few Trump supporters in American cinema, which makes him extremely unpopular in most of the United States, and especially in California.

Sure, there are parts of the inland/agricultural and dirt-poor parts of the state that have the same political sensibilities as Alabama, but the vast majority of Californians are well-educated, affluent, fair-minded people who, correctly, regard Trump as a wanna-be Hitler.

There’s a reason that, if it were a country, California would have the 4th largest economy on Earth.  Principally, we don’t waste our lives invading places like Venezuela and Greenland, not to mention Minnesota.

If for some reason Gibson aspires to a governorship, let me recommend the Deep South, where education rankings are at the very bottom, and racial hatred is one of the most important driving forces in their society.
