How Hard Can it Be?

In response to the question at left, I would remind this Norwegian fellow that democracies have fallen into dictatorships in countries all over the world since ancient times.

Consider the people of Germany and Italy in the early 20th Century, both of which populations were powerless to depose a ruthless strongman wielding incredible propaganda.

I’m not saying that it’s too late, or that it can’t be done, but it takes a great deal of hard work.
