Indeed.

As of late 2025, utility-scale solar PV and onshore wind offer the lowest Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) globally. Single-axis tracker solar PV in the Middle East/Africa has achieved a record low of roughly US$37/MWh, while solar in China has reached as low as US$27/MWh.
