Opinions on Climate Change

There are tens of millions of Americans who believe that climate change is a hoax.

The United States population is about one-third composed of uneducated folks who will believe anything Trump and ultra-right-wing “news” agencies tell them. This is not limited to climate change, but also includes what RFK, Jr. says about vaccinations, and what Pete Hegseth says about starting and conducting pointless and illegal wars.

The other two-thirds has at least some level of education and trusts our scientists to help us navigate our way forward.

The point is that it doesn’t matter what any of us “believe” about science, whether that be climate-related, evolution, gravity, the shape of the earth, etc. One either understands physics, chemistry, and biology, or one doesn’t.
