Making Sense of the Universe Around Us
The meme here reminds me of an interview with Neil deGrasse Tyson in which he was asked, “Given that we understand less than 10% of what the universe is composed of, with all this dark energy and dark matter, couldn’t that be God?”
He replied, “If that’s how you want to play it, fine. Just understand that you’re standing on an island that’s getting smaller every year.”
And he is absolutely right – if you believe that the Universe is increasingly expanding — which is fine also.
