When You Buy Gas, You Support Trump
The man with the sign here is my friend Paul Scott, co-founder of Plug-In America way back in 2005. FWIW, Paul overbuilt the solar PV array on his roof specifically to charge his car; he hasn’t used a drop of gasoline in decades.
He writes:
That’s me, standing on the corner, which I’ll be doing every day now in protest. When you buy gas, you fund Trump. The oil industry spent over a billion dollars in the last election making sure he and his cronies took office.
Thanks for the shout out, Craig. It’s crucial that people on the left stop buying gas cars immediately. Only EVs from this point on. We are only about a decade away from ending the manufacturing of internal combustion engines. That will be a great day as all future vehicles will be electric and powered by an ever-greening grid. We will force even MAGAs to drive EVs because we’re going to eliminate their choice to buy a polluting car. That’s power, baby, and we should use it!
