There is no doubt that reducing one’s consumption of meat lessens the destruction of fragile parts of our environment, e.g., the Amazon rain forest.

I eat what I call “incidental meat,” meaning small amounts that are part of a meal someone has served me.  For example, I don’t pick off the pieces of pepperoni that someone has ordered on a pizza.
