“A Glimpse of Our Future”

Obviously this is a glimpse of our future. Higher temperatures bring the energy required for more frequent and more severe storms.

The only aspect of the tragedy in Texas that puts it in our face is that it happened in the United States, home to only four percent of the world’s population.  Americans are far less concerned about the other 96%.

Of course, we can make it worse, and we’re doing precisely that, by continuing to dump greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere, and by eliminating government efforts to predict the weather and mitigate climate change.
