The Loss of Our Nation’s Honor Is Devastating to Some, But Certainly Not All
Watching one’s country disintegrate is most certainly painful–if you’re an honest intellectual like David Brooks.
The problem arises when we realize that, for every David Brooks, there are several hateful morons, and perhaps a few amoral rich Trump donors who are thrilled to have a corrupt president who will lower their taxes.
Craig — those “several hateful morons” are every former Republican, now Trump Nazi Evangelical MAGA voter — and unfortunately for you – I believe that you’ve written earlier on, that you have a “close family member” – who is one of them.
These people are not morons – unless you consider them incapable of rational human thought — they’ve made the independent, conscientious decision to become a Nazi — plain and simple.
