Religion in American Politics

Stoic philosopher Seneca the Younger gives us what is possibly the very best view into what life was like in the days of ancient Rome.

As we can see at left, the situation in today’s United States bears a distinct resemblance to life 2000 years ago.  In particular, almost none of our scientists are believers, as contrasted against the vast majority of “the common people,” as Seneca put it.

As far as our rulers are concerned, Christianity, and the more fanatical the better, serves Donald Trump very well, as some are convinced that God Himself sent us the president to save our nation from ruin, whether that means gender fluidity, socialism, the invasion of immigrants, wokeism, liberal education, climate change mitigation, etc.
