Trump Derangement Syndrome

To be fair, the average Trump supporter is not proud of the fact that his hero is a convicted felon.  But somebody has to lie at the bottom of the barrel, and it might as well be the guy pictured at left.

It strikes me that the typical MAGA voter believes:

Trump was railroaded on charges that wouldn’t have been brought if he were was less outspoken and honest in his quest to save America.

Even if charges were to be brought, they should have been misdemeanors.

Trump’s criminal record is not a strength per se, but Christ was perfect, and even He was convicted and crucified.

Trump’s crimes are irrelevant against the backdrop of the alternatives: a bunch of radical leftwing gay, black-loving communists.
