Let’s Not Beat Around the Bush: Hegseth Is Perfect
Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich says:I’ve known many other defense secretaries, starting with Cap Weinberger, who served as defense secretary under Reagan. I can say without fear of contradiction that Pete Hegseth is the stupidest and least qualified of them all.
I adore Robert Reich, but I’m afraid I have bad news for him. The blending of “stupid” and “least qualified” make Hegseth the perfect candidate. In 2026, the best person to run the largest military in human history needs to know absolutely nothing about international affairs and military operations and readiness–and even less about sobriety.
All he needs is hatred of blacks, women, and LGBTQs, and rock-solid loyalty to Trump, regardless of the president’s criminality and mental ill-health.
