We’ll soon find out how many American voters believe that the Republicans are the party of defending our Constitution.
Buying this requires that we accept Trump’s consolidation of power, the most blatantly corrupt president in U.S. history. It also necessitates the belief that Democrats are essentially communists.
I’m betting that message will fail.
I’d expect it will play well with Trump’s hardened base – about 20 to 25% of eligible voters… The ‘FAUX Noise’ faithful and the redhat hatred addicts, and the Trump-flag-festooned-pickup drivers, etc.
