Sure Would Be Good To See Tesla Motors Succeed

I try to follow the financial news surrounding Tesla Motors, which isn’t particularly positive right now.  For a couple of reasons, the success or failure of Tesla is a big deal in the world at the moment.

First of all, we all want to know:  can a new entity emerge from outside the auto manufacturing world and build/sell cars successfully?  If Tesla fails, insofar as it has everything going for it in terms of its organization and product (talent, design, torque, eco-appeal) it will mean that the answer is probably no.

More importantly, Tesla is a standard-bearer for electric transportation generally, a subject that I believe has long-term importance in our planet’s migration to clean energy.
