Anyone of Even the Most Feeble Moral Character Is Totally Infuriated at Volkswagen

I bought my 2009 VW Jetta TDI in 2012 from a local dealer (Community VW) on the basis of its 43 MPG fuel consumption and its ostensibly excellent emissions rating. The dealer’s general manager got a piece of my mind on his voicemail the other day: “Hi, I’m Craig Shields, one of your customers. I think we met briefly when I bought my Jetta TDI a few years ago. I’m so (copulating) furious with you Volkswagen people that I am having trouble calming myself down sufficiently to leave you this message. Please call me back and let me know how you intend to compensate me (and half a million other Americans) for the outrageous crime you have committed against us. In any case, know this: I’m coming after you. By that, I don’t mean you personally. In fact, I don’t know whether I mean Community Volkswagen, VW USA or VW GmbH, but I’ll get it figured out and then, trust me, I’m coming after you. Hope to hear from you soon.”
Jon writes: Wow! I hope they send it to Germany.
I hope so too, but I can’t image that my response is unique, or even rare. The fallout from this will be amazing. Anyone who buys another VW at this point is a completely lost fool; I wouldn’t take another one if it were given to me. And that, btw, is part of the reason I need to be compensated; the value of my car just fell significantly.
