The Flag of Treason

Here’s a 60-second television advertisement produced by the Lincoln Project, an American political action committee formed in late 2019 by several prominent Republicans and former Republicans in an effort to prevent the re-election of Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

Here, the PAC raises the questions: Given that those who flew the Confederate flag 150 years ago were traitors to the United States, why are those who honor it today solidly behind Donald Trump?  And why does Trump refer to these anti-Americans as “very fine people?’
