Expelling Foreign Students: Can We Get Any Dumber?

The Trump administration’s decision to rescind student visas from those whose courses are going to be held entirely online have most Americans shaking their heads, in shame and bewilderment

Part of this is simple decency.  “We are being looked at like a package, just being shipped around from here to there,” one student said. That’s simply inexcusable.

And, while it’s disgusting at a moral level, it’s probably worse as a practical matter. Hey, let’s expel 1.1 million of the brightest young minds from the United States and expect a positive result.

Wouldn’t a reasonable person want these people to graduate and become part of our economy, as opposed to go home probably never to return?

The whole thing is incomprehensible, which is par for the course under this administration, but it’s outrageous nonetheless.
