United States in Freefall?

Listening to Eisenhower speak at the end of his presidency and watching the election returns in 1960 with my parents were the first political events I can remember.  Thus it is with particular disgust that I present the meme here.

At a time when Jacinda Ardern is winning a landslide re-election in New Zealand, based on her skilled handling of the pandemic and her intelligent and compassionate leadership, the United States is dominated by disease, job loss, lies, white supremacy, poor education, obstruction of justice, and wide-spread corruption.
