The Slogan “Defund the Police” Couldn’t Have Been Any Worse

When we contemplate the phrase “defund the police,” we need to ask: Could progressives have possibly done any worse in their choice of words?  Almost all Americans despise police murders.  But “defunding” the police sounds like “disempowering” the police, resulting in anarchy, opposed by virtually everyone.

What anyone with a brain wants is actually supporting the police with teams of trained people called in to deal with things like elementary school fracases and confronting mentally ill people walking naked through the streets.

The video here shows two policemen handcuffing and arresting an eight-year-old kid. Does anyone support that?
