Was It Karma That Got The Better Of Lindsey Graham?

Obviously, Donald Trump is at the top of the list of the world’s most reviled people, but if there were a contest for the #2 position, Lindsey Graham would have an excellent shot.  A man with no personal integrity whatsoever, Graham simply shifts in the breeze according to whatever position seems at the time to forward his wealth and power.

The last four years has seen him alternatively telling us: Trump will destroy America, Trump is making America great again, the election was rigged against Trump, and now, everyone knows the election wasn’t really rigged.

The short video below, shot at Reagan National Airport, illustrates how people without principles are ultimately regarded.  This particular scene is ironic in the extreme, since the people shouting “traitor!” at him adored him until January 6th, when he made his last vacillation and finally abandoned the lunatic fringe “rigged election” position and, for some reason, rejoined the world of reason and sanity.

Some people look at this and say, “Karma is a bitch.”  I’m not sure some spiritual mechanism is needed to explain this; I believe it’s straightforward and intuitively obvious.  Taking a stand will earn you the wrath of some people, but standing for nothing except for your own aggrandizement will make you despised by everyone.
