Trump and McConnell Are Not “Worthless”

I try not to be pedantic, but “worthless” is very clearly the wrong word here.  Both these people are extremely powerful forces that are aimed at everything people of decency and compassion abhor:

• Making rich people richer, while making poor people poorer, sicker, and less educated.

• Inciting racial hatred to further their careers

• Inflicting cruel treatment on children.

• Insuring that healthcare remains a privilege for people who can afford it.

• Keeping the GOP the “party of Trump.”

• Slowing the progress of pandemic control.

• Sullying the environment.

• Removing science from government policy-making.

Two of the worst human beings who ever lived, but anything but worthless.
