Here’s Why the Red MAGA Hat Is Different

Regarding the red MAGA hat, I beg to disagree.  Both the swastika and the Confederate flags are signs of evil, of genocide and slavery, respectively.  The red hat incorporates those as well, but it adds in an important ingredient missing in both: stupidity.

We don’t associate stupidity with the slave-owners or the Nazis, but it’s impossible to see pictures of people in red hats and not think: How effing dumb can these people be?

They believe the constant stream of outrageous, blatant bull**** from a conman who is so obvious that he might as well have the words “I’m a professional fraud, and you’re a total moron” tattooed across his forehead.

Doctors, scientists, judges, colleges, historians, the most trusted journalists from all around the globe, and the 17 different U.S. intelligence agencies: all liars.  The most honest man on Earth: Donald Trump.

This is what we’re living with.  No wonder the rest of the world views us with a mixture of sympathy and scorn.
